The challenge: Digby Brown’s existing NetApp infrastructure was beginning to show signs of its age and was proving troublesome when integrating with the firms’ data management tool. As a result adopting new applications to improve core business functions was becoming increasingly difficult. Added to this was the fact that the firms’ failover tools were not delivering on requirements and their IT team was under increasing pressure to deal with recurring operational issues.

The solution: Proact worked closely with Digby Brown’s IT team to implement a unique blend of onsite Storage as a Service (STaaS) and 24x7 Service Management. This allowed the firm to address its on-going security issues, free their IT team from menial operational tasks and cut IT costs by taking advantage of enterprise class technology on a visible monthly cost model.
