Then look no further as we’ve pulled together some of the key takeaways of the day. Keep reading to discover the highlights.

Market Trends 2025

The focus for many businesses has been around servers, cloud computing, network and in particular cyber security, with organisations looking to action their projects with the support of a managed services partner.

This is no surprise, when you consider that ransomware attacks continue to be a significant threat for organisations. In fact, there has been a 52% year-on-year increase in attacks and with a lack of training and siloed environments seen as key issues, it can cost organisations upwards of £500,000 to remedy these incidents.

This has been further exacerbated by the fact that bad actors are leveraging AI more effectively than businesses, resulting in the need for prioritisation towards protection in line with advancements in innovation.

AI Developments and Hybrid Cloud

AI technology is proving to cause some implementational challenges for organisations, with less than 20% of AI projects moving from proof of concept to production. This is often due to undefined data environments. Thus far, the most successful AI projects have focused on improving processes and augmenting existing systems.

On the other hand, true hybrid cloud adoption is finally being realised, with 59% of Dell customers repatriating to private environments. It was also highlighted that leveraging the benefits of edge computing requires a tailored architecture, smaller language models and pro services to truly optimise your cloud value.
