Graduate Programme Overview

Duration: 18 months – 2 years
Degree subject/discipline required: Information Technology or Computer Science related degree
Salary: £25,000 starting salary
• Support to pay off your student debt
Locations: In Proact we work hybrid, we are a tech company after all. You will work 60% in one of our tech hubs in Chesterfield or Manchester up to 40% of your time can be remote.
• Support further professional development: We’ll support you through your programme with access to mentors and investment in specialist skills and qualifications.
Guaranteed permanent role: At the end of the programme, we’ll offer you a guaranteed permanent role, provided you complete your end point assessment.


With its modular approach, our graduate programme has been designed to give you experience in a variety of placements and projects within the managed cloud services operations teams, along with a broad overview of how we work and who we work for, too. Along with your assigned mentor, you’ll regularly review your progress and with access to a wide team of relevant experts, your learning will accelerate fast. In fact, you control your own
destiny on the Proact graduate programme – we genuinely tailor your programme and career to best suit your skills, aspirations and capabilities.
Every graduate experience is unique and truly maximises your opportunity to grow your career as a PROACTivist. And with your mentor and team supporting you, you’ll build experience in the relevant areas, which will help you decide where in Proact you will work on completion of the
graduate programme and that will ultimately set you up as a multi-skilled IT Professional.
